CookiesConsent Mode v2
Nine sections, one rule: no ad cookie until you say yes.
The roofing site you are on runs paid ads. This page lists every cookie and storage key it uses, what waits for your consent, and how to take it back.
In force from October 2, 2026
This cookie notice took effect on October 2, 2026 and was last updated the same day. It sits alongside the privacy notice, which covers what the quote form and the chat keep. This page covers only what lands in your browser.
Three categories, and only one is on by default
Strictly necessary. Always on, because without them the site breaks. They remember your cookie choice so the banner does not ask on every page, and they keep a chat conversation open so you can come back to it after checking the gutter. None of them track you to another site.
Analytics. Off until you allow them. They count visits and which pages get read, so we can tell whether people actually read the flat roof repair section or bounce off it. Counts, not people.
Advertising. Off until you allow them. They let Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads record that a click on our ad became a quote request. That is conversion measurement. We do not use them to follow you around the web with roofing banners.
Every cookie and storage key, by name
Lifetimes are the maximum. Clearing your browser removes all of them sooner.

The code on the end of an ad link
People searching for things like commercial roofing Miami or a free roof inspection quote Miami reach us through paid ads, today, on three platforms. Each one appends its own click identifier to the address you land on.
gclid: added by Google Ads.msclkid: added by Microsoft Advertising, which serves Bing.fbclid: added by Meta Ads, where a campaign runs on Facebook or Instagram.
The identifier sits in the address bar either way; we cannot stop a platform from adding it. What we control is whether it gets written into a cookie. With advertising consent it is stored in the cookies listed in section 03. Without it, it is not. No platform has reviewed or approved this site. They carry our ads.
Four signals, all denied before the page draws
Google Consent Mode v2 is set in the first line of script on every page, before any tag loads. Microsoft's UET tag reads the same choice. The four signals start denied and stay that way until you act.
| Signal | Controls | On arrival | After Allow | After Decline |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ad_storage | Advertising cookies | denied | granted | denied |
| ad_user_data | Sending conversion data to Google | denied | granted | denied |
| ad_personalization | Remarketing and personalized ads | denied | granted | denied |
| analytics_storage | Analytics cookies | denied | granted | denied |
Settings lets you grant analytics without advertising, or the other way round. Analytics maps to analytics_storage; advertising maps to the three ad signals together. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, all four stay denied and we do not ask.
Where to say yes, and where to take it back
On your first visit a banner docks at the bottom of the screen. It does not cover the page; you can read the whole site and send a quote request without touching it. Three buttons: Allow grants both optional categories, Decline refuses both, Settings lets you pick one at a time and save.
To change your mind later, press Cookie settings in the legal row at the bottom of any page. The banner reopens with your current choice ticked. Change it, save, and the new state applies at once. Withdrawing sets the signals back to denied immediately.
To reset completely, clear this site's data in your browser settings. That deletes site_consent_v2 and the banner asks again on your next page. Your choice also expires on its own after 6 months.
Decline, and the roof still gets quoted
Nothing you need stops working. The quote form sends, the chat answers, the phone number dials and every page on services reads the same. Your request is handled exactly as fast as anyone else's.
What stops: no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and the click identifier is not stored. Google may still receive a cookieless ping with ad data redacted, which tells it a page loaded and nothing about you. We lose the ability to tell which ad brought you in. That is our problem, not yours.
What the platforms say about themselves
Once a cookie is set by Google, Microsoft or Meta, their own rules govern what happens on their side. Read them there.
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy, and how Google uses data from sites that run its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Microsoft: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
- Meta: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
